太陽の光を浴びて
精一杯
木のために尽くした

光から恵まれる
いろんな　栄養

次の世代が始まると
不要となって

離れ散っていく

おまえは
たった一葉になって
水に浮く

水の冷たさと
寂しさ

いずれおまえは
水をたっぷり吸って
水底に沈む

誰も
見返るものはいない

でも
いつかは
おまえの役割を
発揮する時が来る
