孤独の旅人

公園を歩いていたら
完全に葉が落ちて
枝だけになったところに

一羽の鳩が
舞い降りてきた

私が近づいても
逃げようとしない
人慣れしているのだろうか

小学生の時
兄の真似をして
鳩を飼った時がある

近所の人が
「おまえだけ鳩を飼っていないのはかわいそうだ」
と言って
つがいの鳩をくれた

育てられる自信はなかったが
見よう見まねで
育てた

その鳩も
いつの間にか
亡くなってしまった

永遠というのはないんだよな～
