訪れた

今は
電車は走っていない
廃線になっている
河東線と呼ばれていた

旧駅構内を見ると
大正ロマンが
渦巻いていた

古くて
華奢な感じの
作りとなっている

聞くところによると

壊してしまって
新しく
観光施設のようなものを
建設したいという
声が強いようだ

それでいいのかな？

一度壊したら
大正時代の
建物を
直接見られなくなってしまう

ここに
電車が走っていたと言うことを
後生に
伝えることができなくなる

便利さだけを求めて
心を失っていくことには
懐疑的にならざるを得ない

熊本城は
崩壊寸前
存続させるために
英知を絞っている

旧松代駅舎も
英知を絞れば
残すことは
できるはず

便利さだけを求めるのではなく

失ったら
決して戻らないと言うことを
人は
知るべきだと思う
