真田信之の
隠居所を
信之が亡くなった後
お寺にしたという

通りからは
車では入りにくいところにあったけれども
お寺の境内は
広々としていて
何台も車を
停めることができる

信之の
御霊屋は
本堂に隣接する形で建てられていた
建物の
後方には
千曲川の土手が迫っていた

川面に近いところに
信之は隠居していたのだろうか
もしかしたら千曲川からは
離れていたのかも知れないと
想像した
それというのも
千曲川が氾濫したら
ひとたまりもない場所だから

なぜか
信之の墓の前には
鳥居がある
長国寺にある
菩提寺にも
鳥居がある

更に不思議だったのは
信之の正妻だった
小松姫の
位牌には「○○○○　神儀」
と書かれている
大英寺の住職によると
「家康と同じで、仏になったあと、神になったものと思う」
とのこと
よくわからない

信之の墓は
うっそうと生い茂った
古木の中にあった

右手には
忠臣の鈴木右近の
墓？があった

信之が死んだ後
鈴木右近は
腹を切ったのだという

自分のために
命をかけた男
どんな人物だったのか
興味が湧く
